Creek Carriage House
Looking for serenity, romance or just a “get away from it all” place where you can decompress from the busy-ness of a hectic city life? Look no further! The guest-house features giant sliding doors, one of which opens up to a huge deck, making the indoors part of nature (if you so choose). The garden is stunning with established fruit trees, veggies, ferns, cedar trees, and perennials, creating a courtyard between the main house and the guest house.
A visit to the Sunshine Coast wouldn't be complete without a stop in Roberts Creek, stretching from Gower Point to Wilson Creek. Small and peaceful, this little corner of the Coast prides itself on being a safe, family-oriented community. The Community Hall is in regular use for rockin' dances, community meetings and bingo nights. Children, dogs and bicycles take priority over vehicles, even on the main Roberts Creek Road. Glorious gardens bloom year round, and the natural vegetation and trees are carefully tended by local landowners.
The residents of the Creek are a peculiar bunch, loyal to their community in a way mostly outdated in today's society. The Roberts Creek Community Association has a large and active membership whose voice is strong in matters concerning community events, planning and development. The drafting and implementation of the Official Community Plan (OCP) developed by the Community Association received a high degree of input from residents. In a survey generated to assess public opinion concerning the OCP, a series of questions was posed. The following is a partial list of answers from local "Creekers" to the question: "What is it you like about Roberts Creek?"
